July 4th Weekend Reminders

 

Parking

Unit Owners are reminded that parking spaces throughout the property are for the use of VISITORS to Hunters Green. Please utilize your garage and driveway to allow ample parking for visitors during the holiday weekend.

**Residents who do not comply will be receiving violation notices**

 

Fire Pits

The use of fire pits is PROHIBITED in any common area in Hunters Green.

 

Quiet Hours

Hunters Green follows the Quiet Hours set by the Town of Newington.

These hours are:

10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Sunday evening through Saturday morning

10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. Saturday evening through Sunday morning

BULK COLLECTION UPDATE

Beginning July 1, 2021, the town will be moving to a user fee structure for oversized bulk waste
collection. Residents will now be required to make payment when scheduling an oversized bulk
waste collection with Trash Away (860)-229-1164. Payments may be made over the phone via
credit card, in person or mailed to Trash Away at 21 Christian Lane, New Britain, CT 06051.

Aside from the fees the program will essentially remain the same. Residents will still be allowed
two items per week as in the past. Scrap metal will be collected on Tuesdays and oversized bulk
waste will be collected on Thursdays. Please remember to place a note on the item being collected to let us know that Bulk Collection has been scheduled.

REMINDER: Items such as mattresses, box springs and scrap metal may be dropped off at the Town’s transfer station at no charge during operating hours, proof of residency will be required.
